Privacy policy

Last updated 4 August 2026

Kingdom Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 63 630 859 282), trading as Project Edge, handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.

1. What we collect

From you, when you hold an account: name, business email, phone, position, the agency or organisation you work for, and your password in hashed form. We never store your password in a readable form and cannot tell you what it is.

From you, about purchasers: when you lodge a reservation you provide the purchaser's name, email, phone, nationality and identification documents. You are responsible for having their consent before you give it to us.

Automatically: sign-in times, and a session cookie so you stay signed in.

2. Why we collect it

  • To operate your account and control access to projects.
  • To pass a reservation to the channel manager who must decide on it.
  • To notify you when stock you can sell changes.
  • To keep an audit trail of who changed stock and who was granted access.
  • To meet legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and identity checks.

3. Who we share it with

Purchaser details you lodge are shared with the channel manager and developer responsible for that project, because they must assess the reservation. Your own contact details are visible to channel managers whose projects you request access to, so they know who is selling their stock.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it for marketing purposes. We use service providers such as our hosting and email providers, who act on our instructions and may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

4. Marketing

Channel managers can send campaigns to agents who have access to their projects. Replies go to the channel manager. Every campaign carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your account or your project access.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions expire, uploads go directly to encrypted storage, and access is checked on the server for every request. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open and for seven years after it closes, which reflects record-keeping obligations on property transactions. Purchaser identification documents are kept for seven years from the reservation. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.

7. Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate. You can edit most of it yourself in My account.
  • Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
  • Complain if you believe we have mishandled your information.

Email hello@projectedge.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies

We set one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.

9. Changes

If we change this policy materially we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.

Note for Project Edge: your previous policy said you could sell or transfer personal data to third parties without consent and that users had no right to object. That is very likely inconsistent with the Australian Privacy Principles and was a real liability. This rewrite removes it. It still needs a solicitor's review before you rely on it.
